Camping Places Advice from Family-OutdoorsFinding a great camping spot is part of the adventure. Sure, there is something to be said for being spontaneous, but a little bit of planning can make all the difference in the world between a great camping trip and disappointment. We have put together a collection of ten book favorites at the bottom of the page. This book list is chosen based on books we have found to be most helpful and/or fun. The books are offered through Amazon and sales help defray our site costs. We hope that you might find one or two to be most helpful along with the content we offer. We have attempted to put together the information you need to research and find a spot suitable to your needs. Whether that be a campground with all the facilities; like showers, electric hookups, and laundry, or whether you are looking for something more creative...like a firetower in Northwest Montana or a riverside campground only accessible by water. We have the information here where you can find what you need. We hope you will take a moment to look through a quick rundown of a trip we took throughout South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. It kind of symbolizes what can be arranged with some advance work like we have tried to help you with. More specifically, we have begun to put together specific resources for a trip to Montana using some of the experiences we had. It is an awesome place, and well within the financial means of folks on a modest budget (like us!). Thanks for visiting.
